dc.description.abstract1Improvement directions of the adjustable power line conditioners (APLC) intended for an autonomous electric power system (EPS) with semiconductor converters (SC), which contains a resonant LC filter (RF) and a reactor compensator (RC) with pulse width regulation (PWR) are considered. The conditions for alignment the frequency characteristics of electric power systems with the spectra of harmonics generated in the power network by both semiconductor converters and reactor compensators are defined. The possibility and expediency of using the proposed improved structure of the controllable filter-compensating device, in which the main reactor filter is also interference-proof in relation to the reactor compensator with pulse-width regulation, have been proven. Theoretical conclusions are confirmed by a model experiment.
